F-cooling fan question
F-cooling fan question I'm using a rad. and cooling fans out of a 99z with no problems till now. I put a cam in the car and now my primary fan is not working. The car is going in for a tune and I need to get all the issues fixed. I've checked the wiring, relays, grounds, fuses and all seems good. Can some one tell me on the fans which side is the positive and which is the negative. I think if you get the wires backwards the fans will run backwards, and if I rememeber the fans run clock wise from the front of the car.

I wired mine differently, so in reality both wires going to the fan are hot... then when the relay trips it grounds it out.... turning the fan on.... I forget who sent me the diagram but its worked great thus far... if you are interested in knowing how its wired let me know Ill draw it up...
On the connector, pin A is GRD, pin B is 12v from the relay
eroc, it doesnt matter if you put the relay on the 12v side or ground side, the pin locations are still important as DC has a direction. For your application, you need battery 12v to the pin B side and the relay 30 side is pin A, then ground the relay from pin 87
