ls1 to 5.3 swap
ls1 to 5.3 swap I have looked everywhere and i cant find an answer....
Im lookin at an 01 firechicken with a blown motor. I have a 02 lm7 not doing anything right now and i was wondering if it is a direct swap... I think i can get away with no tuning for the moment but is this a direct swap? Thanks

Once the additional bolt hole is drilled and tapped everything externally will interchange. You don't need that hole but it's there for the F-Body accessory drive.
You will need a tune for the 5.3. The difference between the two engines is large enough to require it to run smoothly.
