c6 corvette swap ? can the trans of the c6 be converted to work behind the ls2 like a traditional engine/trans combo?
im looking to do an Abody swap and a corvette has presented itself as a possible donor

Yes you can.. but you will have to spend way to much money to pull this off.. just sell the C6 Vette one and buy normal T56.... (F-Body, GTO, etc)
You will have to change the input, output, get a new bell housing, tail shaft, and and and.. well you get the idea..

Look on the manual trans forum for the SSR hybrid thread (if the donor is a t56) or the camaro tr6060 thread if the donor is 2009 or later. While it does run extra, if you can get the donor for less, youll have a much stronger trans over a stock Fbody T56...
