5.3l swap

I have a 84 caprice coupe. I recently got a 5.3l with a 4l60e trans. I purchased a harness from PSI. Got motor to fire up an run. I have a corvette pedal and TAC module. But no response from truck tb. I purchased a truck TAC module still no response. The motor was from a 05 Tahoe. I read where for that yr everything needs to match up. So do I need to get the pedal for that yr truck or can I get a corvette tb to work with the truck intake. Since I already have a corvette pedal and TAC module.
