Default ls3 cams 3bolt,1bolt

I have an ly6 07' that I have an ls3 intake to put on it, so Ive been checking out my parts list of things I'll need. What's the difference on the cams? one or three bolt? I assume that relates to the cam sprocket bolt! Is one better than the other?
Thanks for the help.....
Rick

The sprocket attaches to the cam with either 1 or 3 bolts. I don't think one is "better" than the other. You may have to pull your timing cover to figure out what you have if 07 was a transition year.

Three-bolt cams will have the reluctor wheel for the cam sensor, single bolt cams do not. This may make a difference on part selection...

ly6 use 1 bolt sprocket but if you are changing cam you can use either if keeping the vvt 1 bolt
