got a pic of the pedal. as far as the tune I will have to get with my guy I believe that it is a custom tune, he has been tinkering with these truck engines and has 6 of them retro'd in to some cool old bowties.

Check the PN on that pedal on Rockauto.
It definitely does not look like an 04 truck pedal.

That is a monte style pedal. Yes it will work, we use them all the time with the truck TAC Modules. You have to make sure it is a truck tune. If it isnt, it wont work. I may have overlooked it in previous posts, but is the throttle body a 6 pin, 6 and 2 pin, or an 8 pin? (Sorry if you gave this info already).

The throttle is an 8 pin, the tune in the PCM is a truck tune pretty muck stock with VATS bypassed.

I pulled the harness back out (2nd time) and the guy that did the conversion took it home and worked on it, said that he found where he left out a pin that gives a run signal. Reinstalled harness 3 rd time, same problem.

My supplier hooked me up with a loaner pcm that he uses as a mule to get his rigs to a tuner with a dyno, same problem.

would one of the sensors failing cause the throttle to go dead after 3 or four actuation's.

Update, after a conversation with the guys at PSI, I ordered a new PCM fingers crossed hoping that the programming was my issue.
