Dbw issue

I have a 84 Chevy caprice coupe with a 5.3l motor. Car has dbw setup with a 4l60e. The car is running but no response from pedal. When I crank it if I barely push pedal it responds. If I push it more than a quarter of play it stops responding until I turn off an crank again. Any help would be appreciated.

Not sure if it helps or not, but I have a bad ground to the tac module. Used a good solid ground, and it started working great. Might check you're basics to, like connections, other grounds, etc.

Two questions....

1. Do you lose switched power to the engine harness when you are cranking?

2. Does the pedal work if the key is ON but the engine is NOT running?

Dbw issue

Ign power is good. Tb cracks open then closes when you first turn switch. But pedal does not open tb without engine running.

Ok....

1. What tune is in the PCM?

2. What tac module and pedal are you using? Truck or Vette?

Using truck pedal and tac. Was using corvette pedal and tac an didn't get a response from corvette setup. Don't know about the tune but the truck pedal works till I push pedal 1/4 of the way.
