Default Brake boster

What did you guys have to do to connect the LS to the brake booster? My brake booster connector is not the same size as my 91 corvette.

I used a heater hose reducer to drop the hose size for my booster.

You can pop the valve out of the booster and get one with a 1/2" nipple vs the common 3/8"

Ok, I'm so tired of hearing "What kind of car is it?"
Anyway, If someone could share a part number the booster is 7/8 inch and the hose is 1/2. Thanks

Its the line size, not the booster port ID. GM uses two sizes 3/8" and 1/2"

Go to the HELP section of any parts store and get a new valve for <$5

I tried every parts store none of them fit the hole in my booster. I even ordered one for a 99 Camaro.. no bueno.
Just so you can see what in dealing with here ya go. From left to right... 91 corvette , 99 Camaro, Generic from parts store. I feel like an idiot.. I cant believe this is such a hard part to find. To top it off I dropped the bushing for the Camaro in the booster.

I finally found a solution, Help! part # 42054 and stock LS1 Camaro check valve. It's listed a s a PCV grommet it fits very tight but it fits. The inside diameter is a little off I had to use a drill bit on it.

i came accross the same problem today. i just went to lowe's and got a reduction fitting. if you stay with the 1/2 inch line then it's also more difficult to find T fittings, it seems like they are all for 3/8 hose. i have to tie in my boost guage and proflow valve.

To be honest I know I could have reduced it but it would have felt Buba to me. In your case you probably need to.

Use this thing. At the booster end of the big hose- fits snug in the hose, and push it onto the check valve. Cant see it once its in place.
