Ls1 1977 Mercury Comet

Hey everyone, im getting ready to finish up the exterior and rust repair of the comet, and the engine swap will begin. Anyone attempt this one or am i into uncharted area.

Ill grab some of her tomorrow before i start welding up tbe rust spots.... she is completely stripped no interior no seats, no air/ps/heat.. Its all being stripped for autocross, but i will surely post a few here for ya.

Same body as a 69.5 - 77 Maverick. Yup, it's been done.

I never really had a "build thread", but there was an introduction thread here several years ago. I have the RCM front clip and no shock towers, are you gonna try and keep your stock front end? Here's a good build thread on another board (not mine)...
