Default Case Learn

Trying to do a Case learn with HPT.. While doing task fails for RPM to high.. Doing some research on performing said task it requires parking brake and foot brake to be set.. Parking brake and switch have been removed. Cruise control system has also been removed.. So big question is how do I simulate this signal to the PCM?

Some background on the car ran with no problem last season till the crank wheel decided the split and kill the crank sensor. Since then the sensor and wheel have been replaced. car runs just fine at idle and putting around the pits but when I launch the car or engage the Trans brake I get the 0336 code, the tach in the car goes dead and car brakesup/dies... I have moved harness for sensor well away from any spark plug wires to avoid interference….

Car has never thrown this code till this season… Would like to clear this code before continuing trouble shooting cars performance problem… only thing changed on cars setup was the crank sensor compents.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Which ECM are you using? Should be able to simulate the ebrake engaged signal.

Do a search for a pinout of that pcm shouldnt be to hard to find and figure out which one is for the ebrake signal. Ground it and try your relearn.
