PCM paint or polish?
Painted mine. There are four screws, I think. Undo them...carefully pry apart the two outside shell pieces. Then the printed circuit bd(s) & connectors are set aside.
Not a big deal. Just be careful with the wiring and circuit bds.

Wanted to add that you can go a safer & quicker way.
If you decide to paint, just tape off the connectors with blue paint tape, then use a spray can. If I did it over, I'd opt for this. It's so much easier.
My ECM is in the glovebox, so no one will see it but me!
