4L80 VSS Wiring help

I posted this over in the trans section after doing an extensive search but thought I may get a quicker answer here:

Anyone know which of the VSS pins goes to ground and which one provides the signal? I have a full manual 4L80 (no electronics other than tconverter lock and trans brake) wiring to a Autometer electric speedo which just has one terminal for signal input. Anyone??

Doesn't matter, one wire to ground the other to signal. BTW, the sensor outputs a 5v square wave which should work just fine with the Autometer if it is capable of recalibration.
