LS in a last generation calica... i searched the net and this site and cant find anyone that has put a ls in a last generation toyota celica. that body style just begs to have a ls motor. does anyone know of it being done.

old celicas were rear wheel drive, with some room in the engine bay, to put one in a last gen celica with that curved down hood you would have to chop so much out. Probably best bet is to take an entire corvette drivetrain shorten the torque tube and place the celica on top, cuting out everything thats in the way kinda like what Civette did,

You're talking about a massive headache here. I'm not even sure you could fit an LSx into a 7th gen Celica's engine bay without a ton of modification. My first car was a 1990 Celica, the 7th gens aren't that much bigger. You'd probably have to do it like the Civette, like Nissan LS240 said.
