Default ls swap harness question

I am getting ready to do an ls swap in my 68 camaro, i bought an 04 vette ls1 and it came with acc, harness and pcm, can you rework the factory harness to work or is it better just to go aftermarket, trying to keep this as low budget as possible thanks!

You can use the factory harness with modification, some good info on this site but lt1swap.com seems to be the best for harness modification that I have found. I have been trying to research how to do it and that is where I have found most info so far. If you end up wanting pay to have it done there are many sponsors on this site that will modify ur harness or build you one.

I used the 03 truck harness with my build and rewired it myself. was very easy and took about 5 hrs total. I have about $40 in to doing it myself. I cost about 200 to have a company do it for you and 400-700 for aftermarket harness. All you need is a schamatic to follow. I can get you schematics if you need.
