69 camaro dome light

hi today, could anybody give me a measurment from the top of the windsheild to the front of the dome light? new headliner and i dont want to mess up. thank you for the trouble.

I don't have a windshield in but mine has the original headliner in it, i'll see if I can get ya a measurement

You should be able to feel the Mounting point.. it is usually attached to one of the roof cross brace.

67 here...I have 26 1/2" from top of windshield to the front of the bullet-shaped dome light (light installed).
Also, I have 32 1/4" to the rear of the dome light.
