Default Lq4?

Okay so it looks like my #7 is done only showing about 60 pounds with a compression gauge so I've been looking for a good swap and I found a guy that will rebuild my whole engine with forged internals ect. There's a slight problem tho, i go to school full time and am really on a budget so I've been looking at some LQ9's instead of rebuilding the ls1, is this a good choice? I've heard the LQ9's will handle boost better ( I have a P1 by the way) and it is looking ALOT cheaper then what it was going to cost for the LS1 to be built. I've done my research and seen mostly everything is interchangeable but will the car run if I do the swap? I know a tune will be needed eventually but just wondering. Im not really worried about the weight because this is really just a DD/weekend car. If anyone has any tips or any good reasons why I should just stick with the LS1 please chime in it will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

i would go with the 6.0 for sure if you can get one, i think the lq9 makes like 30 more hp than the lq4 but they are both good motors.

LQ4 would hold boost better... Lower comp.

6.0 regardless is a good way to go
