Sorry to hear about that happening to you... I've gotten some from EFI Connection (although I've heard that the guy who operates that is taking a hiatus for a couple months?). I've also heard people here refer others to Delcity, or Terminal Supply. Hope this helps.

Default Salvage Yard?

Not sure if budget is a consideration for you like it is for me. But I was able to find a number of the connectors I needed from the local salvage yard. Alternator, water temp etc. No shortage of GM vehicles to choose from. I took some from a van, and others from a V6 camaro. Since I was buying some other more expensive items they didn't even charge me for them! Just food for thought for ya.

I found some on Rockauto.com when I was looking for other stuff yesterday.

If a vendor here has them for the same price, might as well buy from the vendor.

So far I'm missing these connectors: rear O2, MAF, Crank Angle sender, and one more I need help figuring out. I'll post a pic soon. I'd like to think that he just didnt look at it close enough, and ask him to split the price of the connectors I need (given the costs). Think that is fair? Thanks a lot guys for all the responses.

Salvage yards for any late model vehicles around here are a huge business. Thats because we get little rain so little rust. Most yards auction the wrecks to other yards or sell the drivetrain complete online. 10 years ago they would escort you to look. A month ago I went to a couple yards and they just told me straight up "No". Thats why I buy stuff through the forums. Crazy I know...... What happen to the good ol days?

That's pretty
Local Pick n' Pocket around here is fairly packed with enough junk to sift through.

my local yard has not ever seen a LS1 powered vehicle...if it has, it is picked over the same day it arrives. I have seen a few 4th gen f-bodies with the V6 (pre 98). 4.8/5.3/6.0 trucks and vans are about it!

anyway...I'm bookmarking the sites. Sometimes I'd rather pay a little more $ and have it shipped to me..and a new part. heck, my local yard charges everyone a $1 to get in..and it's 30 minutes away.

I get my stuff from Mouser. I also build my own pigtails - not sure if that's something you want to get into or not.

If you can get the part numbers from some people on here, this is a great site. But some of the connectors have to have other parts bought with it to make them complete .
A lot of things on here are really cheap. If you know what you are looking for, this site is a great resource for automotive connectors as well as other kinds of connectors for other various things.

I order many of the Metric-Pak and WeatherPack connector terminal from Mouser (as wells some of the others) and I used many of the old connector cases to rewire my harness and also to add other supporting harness (Fan, fuses boxes, relays, etc). That way I was able to cut and reroute my harness connectors and still have it look factory or clean.

For many of the Metric-Pak, you will need to order the 150 and 280 Terminals. Also pickup the correct Crimper and extractor tools. It will make life a lot easier doing your Harness.

For that 3rd link I posted, This is the Home page, Many Parts Stores will carry this brand.
