Hell bent on getting the truck intake to work today. Even if it means sacrificing the wipers until I come up with a better intake. |

So I had some factory AMC paint left from my 360 build, so I decided to give a big middle finger to the purists. |

I love everything about AMC's but its not easy to do anymore. PS- Shifter is in... http://i134.photobucket.com/albums/q...3/b5597a67.jpg |
yea its def neat cause its different. you should see the hoops we had to go through trying to get aerospace brakes for the front of the amx lol. it was rediculous. oh the the pacer got the stockers off the amx haha. recycled! |
Even finding aftermarket replacement parts is a chore for AMC's. No body knows what they are and the cars are a mix mash off all the big brands. |

Nice!! |
Got only a small amount done today... Got the 80# injectors installed with nylon spacers spacing up the fuel rails. http://i134.photobucket.com/albums/q...3/2460f600.jpg http://i134.photobucket.com/albums/q...3/fbedeca4.jpg http://i134.photobucket.com/albums/q...3/bf0356df.jpg Installed the intake with a new beefy felpro intake gasket... http://i134.photobucket.com/albums/q...3/191a8dff.jpg http://i134.photobucket.com/albums/q...3/ad05b217.jpg http://i134.photobucket.com/albums/q...3/70cd5641.jpg Pretty much it for today. Picked up some material to use as a spacer for the trans mount. Will finish that off tomorrow. Need to weld the one truck manifold up and install them before I start working on the turbo kit. Im not sure where Im going to have room for an intercooler. I was thinking about running a small aluminum rad like a civic radiator. Has anyone used this small of a radiator before on one of these? Thanks for looking guys! |
Two 12 point socket trans mount spacer. Tool steel and lifetime warranty! http://i134.photobucket.com/albums/q...3/2690243d.jpg |
I think I know the answer to this question already but Im going to ask it anyways. Im struggling to come up with a creative way to fit an intercooler and piping in this thing without swiss cheesing the car to death. Here goes, has anyone ever ran a civic half radiator in one of these cars? A half rad would be nice to fit an IC with same side end tanks. Thoughts...be gentle. |
Mike Damone would be proud "The attitude dictates that you don't care whether she comes, stays, lays, or prays. I mean whatever happens, your toes are still tappin" |
All of my exhaust parts didnt show up so I tried to get some little crap done. IAT smashed in with a hammer, blobbed with ultra black. http://i134.photobucket.com/albums/q...3/62466e9b.jpg Tapped... http://i134.photobucket.com/albums/q...3/079e8e05.jpg Confirmed... http://i134.photobucket.com/albums/q...3/e7d52343.jpg |
Didnt like the shifter placement so I moved it and had to cover the factory auto on the floor opening. http://i134.photobucket.com/albums/q...3/bb6d515b.jpg MOunting the boxes... http://i134.photobucket.com/albums/q...3/ffe719ad.jpg |

Hoping the rest of my exhaust parts come early this week. I want to get the hot side done by weeks end. I ordered an aluminum radiator from a late 60's mustang. It will give me room to sneak IC pipes back to the turbo and TB. |
