radiator overflow tank

Are the stainless steel tube shaped radiator overflow tanks any good?
It looks like it has a return side, which is what I want.
Here is one:

Try Speedway Motors. I've used two wih good sucess. Various sizes as needed.

I spot welded a couple of brackets onto a stainless steel water bottle and that is what I use for an overflow bottle. Bolted it right to the Taurus fan shroud. Drilled a hole in the plastic lid and ran the overflow tube to the bottom.

Massively cheaper than the expensive stuff sold for that purpose and works perfectly.
