Daytona Coupe LS1 conversion
04blackgmc retuned my car and it was a night and day difference in terms of driveability, performance and mpg. He spent several hours fixing it and responds within minutes whenever I text him dumb tuning questions lol
Nice car tho!

Then when I get it back the VE tables are off by 20%, my injectors weren't calibrated, and the maf tables were stock.

Also if anyone wants to come out and go for a spin in the Daytona I will be racing it at Family arena on Sunday between 1-3pm. I normall give rides on the 1st few runs and then run solo on the last couple trying to put up a good time. If you have never experienced a 1.5G turn on R-Comps you should come out and try it. There is a waiver you have to sign, but rides and spectating is free.

I really love the Daytona coupes and am of the same opinion as you, I just prefer the coupes over the roadsters.
My car was at St. Louis Run & Gun 3 years straight, '09-'11, placing 1st or 2nd in its class (2nd behind the Mongoose GTP) - unfortunately, I wasn't driving, but I plan on getting involved locally where I live in the next year or two (Track is being paved).
Like you, I want to swap to LS powered, have a ZZ502, but would like to swap to a built LSx (aluminum), N/A, with individual throttle bodies as a throw-back to the original Grand Sports.
Anyway, beautiful car! Excellent work as well keeping the weight low

Again, I love your Daytona coupe, maybe I will have to add one to my garage one day to sit beside the Grand Sport
It is amazing how close the 2 are in design. What does your weigh?
