Default Header building tech help for LS1 going in Jeepster

I've got a 99 LS1,with LS6 heads and ls6 intake. It has a comp cams 112 lsa cam .595 lift 232/232. This motor came out of a E36 track car.
I'm going to be putting it in a 71 jeepster commando. Jeep is already caged out,and running 1ton drivetrain on 37" tires, lockers etc.

I have the equipment and ability to build headers, but not sure if i want to go through the effort. I have too many other things to build. Should i build a set of tri y's or just try to bolt on some block hugers? I'm going to run 3' stainless pipes all the way back.

The longer tube header you can get on this vehicle the better. LS motors have always shown very good pick ups with long tubes over a shorty. I know you will be limited on space but its definitely worth it to put the extra effort in for a longer tube in my opinion.

With that cam and those tall tires I sure hope you're running a VERY tall gear.

Use this gear calculator...tells the truth http://www.grimmjeeper.com/gears.html

My LS TJ with 40" tires, 700R4, runs about 1700 rpm @ 55. My crawl basement ratio is 221:1. AT LOW LOW, 2200 RPM = 100' PER MINUTE
