Default TPI Conversion Questions

I know this is not ls1 material, but you guys have been very helpful and I figured that you might know whats up.
My friend has a 1972 K5 blazer with a regular old 350 in it, that he is looking to do a TPI swap on. The injection will most likely come from a 1992 camaro with a thrown rod. I know that this is a speed densuty system, but not much else other than the weird angles on the center intake bolts. He has access to a Tech 1 at school, and I was wondering if the tech 1 would be able to delete the codes in the computer, like LS1edit can do for the LS1 engines. If so I think the both of us could tackle this swap pretty easily, by doing the wiring ourselves. The thing is he is on a budget. and if the Tech 1 would work it would be great.

The tpi ecm will require removing the chip and reburning it. Most info is pulled from scan software and used to burn the chip.

Duh. I completely forgot that those computers use porgrammable removable chips. Well at least we can do the wiring part.

Just remember the VATS is through the chip if I remember right. I can understand wanting to do everything yourself to keep costs down but I would just like to point out the Painless harness 90-92 TPI w/speed density is 300.00, maybe even cheaper through a sponsor. Good luck.
