Anybody used 302 shorties with ls1 flanges in a foxbody?

There was someone here who did that, cant remember who. The problem is the primary size, the 302's are usually too small for an ls motor. Also, the ls's really benefit from long tubes. If you don't want to drop the $$$ on long tubes why not just run 5th gen f-body manifolds?

You can get 1 3/4" shorties for fox mustangs, but they are alot less common than 1 5/8".

I used BBK 351W/fox body 1 3/4" long tube swap headers with LS flanges in my '72 Maverick. If you can access my uploaded photos, there are some there...

buy a set of used 351 windsor long tube headers and cut the flanges off and buy ls flages and weld them on and BAM.. you got yourself a cheap set of decent headers..
