What size drill bit to drill alt hole on block?

Default What size drill bit to drill alt hole on block?

I'm needing to know what size bit you guys used,to drill the alt hole out on a lq4 block?...thanks

I think drill bit sized needed is 8.5mm or 11/32 for a M10X1.5 tap.

Google metric drill/tap chart and you should find your answer.

Be sure to bolt your alt up, and use it as a guide, or build a jig, that way everything lines up right.

The actual drill bit for that tap is a "r"
