Default Simple wiring question using 99 5.3 pcm
with help of lt1swap.com.. helping a friend wire in his 5.3 into a 71 c10. The rest make sense but Blue Connector, Pin 33 - TCC Brake Switch. Does this need to be hooked up or can it be removed? Will be running a TH400 transmission and it's said its for lock up torque converters. (converter is non lockup)

you can delete it. Did you keep the VSS though and remove all the other trans wires?

I will not be using an electronic speed signal as the truck's speedo is mechanical and output on trans is mechanical.
