Picked up the swap canidate!!!! i got my car!!!
picked up a 1 family owned 1983 Z28 over the weekend.
i am gonna take care of the chassis first, going a street/strip route with focus on teh strip part
, build up is gonna take at least 1 ful year, maybe more if i find a hosue soon.
the plan is to prepare the ar as lite as possible and still maintain a street legal status with full registration adn regular insurance.
the car is a hard top, so i am placing the target weight at 3000lbs with teh factory iron motor in it and about teh same after teh full cage and turbo'ed LS1 swap.
i am plannign teh car to be easily capable of going under 10.0 on pump gas with small tires.
hopefully all will go well in teh next several montsh and i can be motor shopping by mid summer
