A not so hypothetical situation Here's the deal, I've got a low mileage LS1 in my TA. It's got a bone stock 2001 longblock from a wrecked base Corvette - 3500 miles on the clock since new.
I've got a friend with a 1998 Corvette with a rod knock. He wants the car fixed before the weather turns to crap. He is offering a complete 2004 LQ4/4L80E combo (with harness and ECU), plus a pair of Garret t3/T04e turbos (rebuilt), exhaust manifolds for the same, Emusa wastegate and BOV, and a pair of Lingenfelter air/air intercoolers in exchange for my longblock (I keep the carb, intake and headers). The LQ4 has 100K on the clock and runs well.
Deal or no deal? Comments?

Thanks guys. Anyone else? The one thing weighing against this is the "do over" factor. The car is running well and nicely balanced now. There will be some adjustment with a different setup.
