T5 vs T56 bolt pattern

might be posting in the wrong section but...
I have an LS1 to T56 bellhousing, will a T5 fit instead?

Also 94 V6 camaro 5spd...that is a t5 right?

getting a t5 to fit a t56 bellhosuing wont work. you can bolt a t5 to an ls1 however. although it wont last very long even if its built

That particular T5 uses a Ford front case and bolt pattern. You could probably use it on an older GM aluminum passenger car bell housing if you re-drill the bolt pattern. I am not sure if the depth of the bell housing vs. the input shaft length will work out though.
