fuel line question
fuel line question For those with A-bodies running the stock, unsumped tank and external fuel pump, what is the most effective way (read cheap) to connect my nylon fuel lines to the existing hard line leaving the tank? I plan to run a return line all the back from the adjustable fuel regulator in the engine bay as well. For the engine side I am using -6an push lok fittings.
If you're talking about a 68-72 A body tank, you're going to be very disappointed without a sump. It's low and flat and even some aftermarket sumped tanks dont work well.
Seriously consider the caprice/impala tank with a sump. It already has the male quick disconnects on the outlet and return.

It is a '68 LeMans. Did you say "very" disappointed...ouch, why? What year Caprice/Impala? Will it still work with the Bosch 044 external pump or has that ship sailed for me as well.
The A body cutlass, chevelle, etc tanks are flat and shallow. I assume the pontiac is the same. The pickup easily catches air on cornering. Not a problem on carbed motors, big issue on FI motors.
The plastic 95 (and other interchange years, 92-96?) tank has an internal sump and baffling. You can install a Racetronix intank pump, quieter, more reliable.
The only issue is the outlet/return/vent raise above the tank. You can cut out a section of the trunk floor or space down the front edge of the tank.
Get it with the sender/pump (sender is 0-90 ohms, will work with stock gauge), straps, filler if possible.

Thanks Greg. I assume it has to have the LT1 motor correct? 93-96 maybe?
I noticed your car has a rear anti-sway bar, mine does not...nor do I see holes in my arms for one. Is yours stock?

Yes, the tank is set up for a 5.7 LT1. You have to swap the pump since the LS motors need higher pressure. You'll need the corvette fuel filter/regulator too.
