Lost the 67 in the storm
Not that I am aware of. We have always considered saltwater as death for the body, upholstery and wiring of any car. Salt water = totaled.

thanks for the reply's and offers for help. Its been crazy here I have had a ton of help - friends ,family and volunteers . I am an electrician and have been trying to get as many people restored to have their power turned on . I would say its about 50 percent so far .Its really sad to see so many hopeless people and now some of the contractors are gouging the desperate people that have not have had electricity, hot water or heat for over 3 weeks . A couple of friends tore into the cars . not a priority right now but having a few ideas about the re-rebuild , all ideas welcome as this more or less is a clean slate again.I still have no internet as I am at a relatives right now .JOHN

Got car running about 2 weeks ago with a new ecm , altenator, battery,maf,new fuse block off the battery, fresh oil and filter, transmission had only a few ounces of water and no water in the gas tank , ran a little rough being that the new tune is for a 6l80e which I phyisically installed today , need to buy a converter and associated items with the trans . I will have the car on the 2013 hot rod power tour , hopefully I will be driving it and not towing it. JOHN

Car is now driving , ac system replaced , 6l80e installed with a circle d 3000 stall converter and a stand alone trans cooler with fan.new front springs, still need to fab a new trans tunnel , replace wiper motor,conv. top pump and button up stereo& rug .I love buying stuff twice !!! JOHN

Guess you can re-design anything that you wanted to now.. since your buying twice. Anything you wanted to change after the 1st building..
