Throttle cable - How long?

Throttle cable - How long? I'm getting a list together of the little things that I need to get ready to fire up the LS1!!! I want to get the Lokar throttle cable but I need to know which one/how long it should be.

i would measure from the TB to the firewall and then add an inch or 2
Matt, I used the standard LS1/Ram Jet Lokar cable in the Jegs Catalog. I ended up shortening it about 4 inches. You will have to pull it apart, then on the stock cable remove the plastic cup on the pedal side. Run the new cable through the cup and the pedal pivot hole. Then install the cable through the existing firewall hole using washers to fill the square hole. From there just re-install the intercable and attach the throttle cable end to the existing throttle bracket. I found that the generic cable ended up being to long, but you may be running yours different.
