better than a solid mount, and it will make it way easier to work on the car as well.
Not real interested in the mid-plate idea. Thanks for the idea tho. The solid truck mounts might be an idea. I was wanting to take some .25 plate and try my hand with a welder. Thanks guys anyone else have anything?
Honestly any measurement is going to be useless without knowing the exact combination, clearances on the setup and accuracy of the person doing the measuring.
If you are going to fabricate your own mounts the safest bet is to set things up the way you want them for the combination in your car.

A body here, but it might help. I fabbed my own solid mounts. I used 1/4" plate, and made the block plates first. Bolted the plates on the block, then set the engine/ tranny in place.
When I had everything exactly where I wanted it, and the correct drivetrain angles, I then took measurements, and fabbed the remaining part of my mounts.
I also built my tranny crossmember, and tranny mount while I had it mocked up.

Is during mock up. I also moved the lower factory frame mounts back, and had to drill two new holes, but all in all this whole process was very easy.
