E67 computer VSS questions, please

E67 computer VSS questions, please Is the E67 'puter's VSS input sine-wave or square-wave, please? And, does GM's 17-pulses/rotation terminology equal 17K ppm in the speak of others? I've searched about on the Web with few and/or confusing results.

Square wave. 17 pulses per drive shaft rev. Converted through the ECM to deliver 4k PPM to the speedo.

Oops, just saw this below from "garys 68" on another thread when I asked about the T56 output to the E67 (since I didn't know where to ask for sure):
