2 Chevrolet valve cover
LS7 lifters
LS2 timing cover conversion from VVT

Most of my orders last week & 2day is from BTR , AWESOME TO DEAL W/ & GOTTEN MY PARTS IN 2 DAYS FROM ORDERING. THANK U GUYS @ BTR.

Default Pics of engine before going into the Nova

Been busy w/ house remodeling (bay window , kitchen ,River Rock stones around bay window, living room flooring & landscape. (S--T WHEN WILL THIS END) Got the new turbo cam in , ls2 timing cover conversion kit , mellings oil pump (aligned & shimmed) , oil pan baffle & pan installed & torqued. Install the 160'S injectors , started the wiring for Holley Dominator EFI. Installed the turbo headers & coming up with the coil relocation setup differently from my previous post. I'll do the valve springs , locks , retainers & seals once engine is in its bay. Now gotta weld some area on front sub frame & scuff old paint off the firewall & frame , then clean it thoroughly & paint it. What do u all think about painting the firewall with bed line spray. My thought is , it would not chip & it fills alot of imperfection. Tell me if I crazy 2 do the bed liner spray on firewall , it's not a show car but it's durable & won't chip easy when u hit it w/ ur wrench.

Gotten some progress , made a mock up tube brace 4 the turbo support to help the headers , I'll order Chromloy tubing , rod ends & rods.

Gotten it installed & Trans , converter & LS6.0 in 4 good. Till more upgrade a yr or 2 after it runs.

Looks good!! You're getting pretty close now! I've heard that Holley system is the bee's knees.

I don't see any reason not to use bedliner for the firewall. Just dont have it Rhino-lined cause that stuff is hell if you ever wanted to remove it! Maybe just use that stuff you get in the gallon at autozone. (I used to spray truck bedliners professionally)

Thank u The Bandit & SSTEN , I appreciate this. As for the bed liner paint. It's not my thing for the firewall but I've had firewalls painted the color of the car or satin black but it always chip the paint when Mr.MaGooo (me) works on it. Well I got one turbo support made & one end is on the block & the other end on the elbow turbo flange.

It's under the headers on sides of the block ( there's 2 bosses , 1 per side)

Nice build, I've been following your progress. I have a couple of questions. What front tires are those, the size of the rims and backspacing ? Also, how tall are the back tires and did you do any work to the quarters to fit them? They look tall and I am debating if I can fit a 30 inch tall tire in my stock quarter. I moved the inner well in and sectioned the frame a little so I know I have the width to fit it, but I'm not sure if I have enough room for the height. I am looking to fit a 295/65/15 which is 30 inches tall. Thanks in advance.

Thank u very the comment. The front tires r MT S/R radials 26x6x15. The rears r 31" tall , it's a back half chassis & someone before me cut rear quarters & put Harwood fiberglass quarters that's 36" wide opening. I'm cutting em out & put AMD full quarters so it closes the gap . The front rim is the narrowous one from American racing torque thrust D.

Made some cardboard templates for radiator & intercooler. Got a intercooler from a friend , thanks Paul Louka .Also thanks goes 2 my friend Shawn Madill foe welding some spots on sub frame.

Got the intercooler mocked up , now sold the big radiator & ordering the smaller radiator.

Default SS 3.5" 45* exhaust r in.

Got the pipes in & Vibrant 4" - 3" silicone reducer for the throttle body , now eating for the 3" aluminum pipe to connect throttle body to intercooler.

The exhast is in better location cause its clears away fom the MC better.

Can you put your intercooler in front of the radiator? For an air-to-air intercooler, I think it's really important that you maximize cool air flow.

The intercooler is in front & I'm laying the radiator underneath the intercooler.
