Default catera ls swap

For those of you who are going to swap a ls into catera and have drive shaft issues maybay I can help. The catera and 2009 G8 and 2011 camaro have the same drive shaft design. If youre using the 4l80e trans it will except the 6l80e yoke [3 bolt pyramid shape]. Leave the catera rear shaft in place and swap the catera front shaft for the g8 or camero shaft. You may have to cut to length needed. I will be posting a video of my catera build soon thanks and hope this help

I just got a catera is it possible to swap a 4.8 onto the original transmission or is the bell housing different? What engine can I swap onto the original transmission? I am not looking for huge performance and speed just decent power and mileage with reliability for daily driving.
