How to wire the OBD2 connector to an E38 ECM?
Can anybody tell me what needs to go where on the OBD2 connector pins?
I know about the 2 grounds and 12V+ pins but where should the twisted pair go on the connector?
Thanks, Ken
I also tried wiring the OBD to the V2 pin out. My scanner doesn't even turn on that way.
OBD
Pins 1,2,&3: Not Used

That is from this thread, but I added the ECM pins for the GM LAN.

I can wire it to pin 1 on the obd port. This still isn't telling me where to go to get it connected to the ecm. It is starting to look like I may need the BCM just to run the cluster.
