would it pass emissions?

if i swap a 6.0 in a 6 cylinder 99 bird would it pass emissions? thanks for any help

Depends on emissions laws where you live.in wa all it has to do is pass obd2 scan and it would more than likely pass if its stock on a sniffer.but a visual may be a issue

You need to give us more information on where you live.. and what the emission laws are there.. also, are you going to use all of the OEM Smog equipement ?

Depends....... You must check with your state's DMV because the legalities of a swap could involve as little as just meeting a safety check inspection. Or what you are suggesting might be 100% illegal being that is a truck motor and that motor was never designed with the higher emission standards of the 5.7 cars not to mention it may not have all same emissions equipment. Hate to be an *** but this is a straight up state to state the answer differs kinda deal
