Steam tube

Anyone have a steam tube for a 05 5.3? I need the one that goes through the intake. Thanks!

Are you talking about the metal one that bridges the heads and then has a single outlet up to the throttle body?

Yes but this one for the truck goes through the throttle body.

Living in Louisiana, you don't want the coolant running through your throttle body- that's for area where it gets cold in the winter. I'd bypass the tb if I were you. You want the air to be as cold as possible when it hits the tb.

Do I have to block off the inlet and outlet or can I keep it open? I wouldn't think it goes anywhere but in and out. Thanks again for the replies.

It's just a tube that runs straight through and heats the throttle body. Cap it or cut it of, or just leave it open.
