I agree, looks sweet

How do you think it will hold up to the torque and HP though? Not the first time I've seen this though, so it must be somewhat reliable.

Factory 5 is going to use these in their "budget" prototype car car kit I believe.

seen Porsche 915 transaxles handling 500ft-lbs with lots of modification, and whil i haven't heard of a LS1 914, i have heard of a couple people building Cadillac Northstar powered 914s

Question

Classic Style,

I would like the dimensions of your LS1 w/ Porche tranny installed. Do you have length from crank pulley to center of CV output?

Also, length from LS1 bellhousing flange to center of CV output.

Which transaxle did you use? Can some VW or Audi transaxles be substituted for the Porche tranny or are even the same?

I am building a mid-engine LS1 and need to know if I have the room to go longitudinal or transverse. Any info on transverse trannys to LS1 swaps would be appreciated as well.

Some links would be helpfull too!
