Cable X hook up (question)

The direction said to use the wire to the speed sensor on the tranny, I'm questing it means to splice it into the wire not to disconnect the tranny sensor from the computer.

Yes, you're supposed to just tap into it. You can also use the VSS coming out of the PCM and set it to 4000ppm and it will work.

Thank you, I'll use the one from the PCM.

If you use the one from the PCM, it will show what the PCM is showing. You can then adjust it via the tune, or the DIP switches on the Cable X.

this is what I did, and its easier to change it if need be with HPtuners, no need to open the cable x box mounted under the dash...

I mounted mine under the hood, in main case it makes noise.

i only can hear it <5mph with the radio off.. its pretty quiet..
