Default third gen t56/4.8 swap

I'm building a 4.8 to go in my 87 Camaro and would like to put a t56 behind it. I'm thinking of using a lt1 donor. Is there anything that won't work from the lt1 car behind the LS? will the LS flywheel work with the other lt1 stuff? Thanks!

The LT1 t56 will not work with the LS with out replacing everything on the front of it. Just find LS parts.

Will the pedals and all that work from the lt1 car?

Yeah the pedals will work but the rest won't.

Is it a good running LT1 swap? Reason i ask is if so run it! Should run with a 4.8 anyways.

Plus swapping into a previously swapped car can be troublesome. Its always easiest to start fresh imo

The 87 has an old school 350/700r combo. I'm building a 4.8 for it and ran across a complete lt1 t56 swap so I thought it would be nice to have the 6 speed
