Default Ls1 swap

i have installed an ls1 in a 1965 impala. it's complete top to bottom with engine harness and PCM. My question is what comes next what do I do? Whirring programming ect.

Start hacking up the harness. lt1swap.com has a good writeup.

While you do that, pick a tuner and send the PCM out for a VATS delete and maybe a basic tune.

What's your budget like? You can buy a harness from a couple of people on the forumn, or if you have the time and some knowledge you can do your own rework of the factory harness. Your still going to need to get the vatts taken off and a few other things done to it, but that's also available form vendors on the forumn.

driveshaft cut yet?

fuel pump? fuel lines? exhaust?

I recommend a 95 impala plastic fuel tank. only one small mod to get filler neck to work. no drama with old tank fitting new fuel pump.

what did you use for an oil pan?

I have my 65 impala swap completed. ask any questions if you need.
