03 BMW e46 M3 - LS6 / t56 Well I love my BMW but I hate the cost of maintence... really love the comfort and the cars handling performance. I've changed the style of my car enough times from the dished out wheels and being too low, I'm now moving to the performance side.
So now I'm here, this plan for this project was just to purchase a running ls1, clean in up and get it into my car and drive it... Lets just say that didn't happen. The original block I had had a crack in the side from someone not cleaning out the head bolt holes... Long story short I now have a LS6.
Here's a list of things I've done to the ls6
mahle forged pistons
stock crank and rods
arp rod bolts
stage 2.5 PRC ls6 ported heads w/ dual springs
Comp cams trunion upgrade
arp head bolts
mellings high vol oil pump
ls7 lifters
tsp pushrods
torquer V2 112 sep
ls2 timing chain
Katech/ GM ls6 timing chain guide
Ngk Tr6s
Ls6 valley cover
New h2o GM pump
F body style oil pan
powder coated the acces. brackets to look pretty
Plus every single earls fitting I can put on it with the black nylon hoses.
Next decision on mods
Fast 92 intake manifold
Fast 92 tb
Possibly a fuel rail
NX express plate system
OR
The OBX ITB kit / still looking for more info on it.
I plan on having my car vinyl wrapped in matte white and calling it snow ball - because seriously, this is the definition of the snow ball affect..

Been doin a lot of reading, if my wiring guy (who is the shizznet) can't figure it out ill run aftermarket gauges and/ or a mega squirt
