Default NEED HELP injectors not working

Well i got everything installed ly 6 is in but it wont run , kind of starts to fire and nothing , if i put starter fluid in it starts and runs it out in less than a second , plenty of fuel pressure , and i have 12 volts to the pink injector wires when key is on , drive by wire pedal functions , fule pump runs , plent of press ure at the rail , i need help guys , changed to and ls3 intake and l92 cam , intake came with injectors , current did my harness , retrols my tune

Its VATS disabled in the tune for sure?

bump , someone please give me some things that might cause this , my tuner assured me vats was off , starter would not engage at first either , i put a "plk" in at solved that issue

if you take off injectors and pulse them with juice with pressure on them, you will know if they are working.

check on youtube for cleaning fuel injectors. there a lots of videos on how to clean injectors. when cleaning, you will know if they are working when pulsed with electricity.

have you hooked a code reader up yet?

no reader yet . my mechanic just came by and checked it out , he has a pulse reader the hooks to the injector plug , they pluse like once or twice when cranking and stop , the pink wire is a constant 12 volt , the other pluses a ground , to my understanding , so i may have a ground issue , anyone know what grounds i would have on a n ly6 out of a seira van from 2006 ? curent did my harness and they dont mention a ground at all

The pulsing ground is correct. That is how the injectors open and close.
Maybe clogged injectors? There is a small filter in each injector that might be the issue.

the 2 grounds that come off the harness , and bolt to the back of the passenger head are good

After doing some research and being assured that my vats has been turned off by the person who tuned it , Im not so sure ,, reading about fuel enable mode , and how a vehicle reacts , it sounds like my problem

i have no body control modual attached , only the e38 ecm

a car that briefly starts then shuts off is a symptom of VATS not being turned off. any chance you could have your tuner re-read the computer? could you find someone local and maybe swap computers?

Ive drawn the same conclusion leon , ecu will be shiped out tomarow , curent is close to me so they get the nod as the guy who tuned it initialy has allready had it back once , im not going to be very happy when it turns out to be a tuning issue , so another 4 or 5 days wait for the next step , i hate waiting on something ive been bustin my *** on every day , cutin and welding frame exc , to be stoped by computer issues , car is on my lift and i have 2 other projects waiting for this one to move under its own power

Are you sure you have a 12 volt key on source that stays hot in both the crank and run position?

Sounds like you are in Florida? I'm in Melbourne. If you are close and want a second set of eyes on it let me know.

Spend the money on HPTuners, trust me it's well worth it. Then you will have a full tuner capabilities, scanner and logger all in one. Learn it, build it and break it.

Sometimes the VATS disable will not take. If he did a "write calibration", it may not have worked. When you make multiple changes it is best to do a "write entire". I've never had a problem with it doing it this way.....he might not be aware of this issue...

got her running today finally after 3 weeks of computer crap , a big thanks to Jerad at current performance . S he rolls nice , very smooth idle and tons of power

ktown yes holley drive system brackets

bczee , tune or lack there of , the guy who sold me the engine package said it was tuned for my engine , and vats turned off , wrong on both points , it had a tune for a 4.8 in it . Im am no tuner , this is my first venture into the ls world , been building hot rod sbc and bbc , for 35 years , but even I can figure out the a 4.8 tune wont work on a 6.0 , and one has vvt , the other does not , not to mention I believe most 4.8s had a 24 reluctor , diferant than the 6.0s

all in all the thing that pisses me off is it was back to the guy and he swore it was good , 3 weeks of down time for my lift on a computer issue , thing runs great now though , and the engine apears to be in great condition .

kudos again to Jerad at current , he got me up an running

DID I MENTION IT PULLS LIKE A TRAIN , HOPE MY TRANY HOLDS UP
