Ls1 swap fuel lines
Ls1 swap fuel lines I've done a ls1 swap into my 01 v6 camaro and I'm trying to sort out the fuel plumbing. I did the standard vette regulator trick but I'm trying to get fuel line from the hard line to the regulator and regulator to rail. I've tried searching for braided quick connect fuel line but haven't been able to find what I'm looking for. Everything I find has to do with adapters leaking and conversion kits. All I'm looking for is three lines that are of the quick disconnect type similar to what c5s use. Can someone please shine some light on this for me?
You might be better off making your own if you want quick connect ends on both sides of the line. Dorman and SURR sell line and fittings. Dorman also sells a compression fitting to attach nylon line to steel line. I use them all the time with no issues.
I used all Russell parts for my setup.. they have the Quick Disconnects, AN fitting and SS Braided hose. They has has the adapter that inserts into the Vette FPR output (to fuel rail).
Russell parts #'s, these 1st two are black, you can get them in Blue also.
3/8" push on Connector to AN = 644123 (new style)
5/16" push on Connector to AN = 644113 (new style)
3/8" fuel rail adapter to AN = 644020
If you have the OEM QD.. you can use the Doman fuel line report kits to create new line with the OEM Fittings. Domain has various parts and kits.
search for "Doman Nylon Fuel Line Repair kits"
