ls swap wiring. My question is. Can I run a unmodified harness in my swap of a 5.3 if I take all of the sensors and fuse blocks of the donor vehicle. And will it run. I know that's a lot of extra u wiring.

The engine harness is pertty much a stand alone harness.. It only needs a few power connections, ground and some optional wire connected to run the engine.
Yes, you could take the Sensor, fuse box and harness, etc that connects it to the engine and body/chassis harness.... Connecting the required Cxxx connector wire as needed, the engine would run. (sound simple, it is, but you need to know what to connect...that is the tricky part ..LOL)
Do some research on the FAQ of the pin out of the year and model of the harness/pcm.

Thanks for the input.I may just go with an Lt1 with carb conversion for now so I can at least drive it for this year, and maybe buy all the LS parts and engine from the salvage yard they only get 140 for an engine too cheap to pass up. In the meantime I can research more and make up a harness get the mounts,exhaust etc... .
