Default Suggestions for fitting a Procharger in a tight space?

I have been back and forth between a turbo and a supercharger for my 1972 240. With a turbo comes the nightmare of running a down pipe and with the supercharger comes the problem of mounting. The picture I am posting was the solution a good friend of mine did with his 240 while running the Corvette set up with a D1sc. I would like to get away with not having to cutting the strut tower, but realize I need to move the the alt back an inch to line up with the Corvette head unit. Is there any OEM or aftermarket brackets that could achieve this?

My buddies car

Can you space the head unit to match your accessory drive?

I'm interested in something similar for my Z31. There isn't much room for turbo hot piping.

gots lots-o-room on the drivers side... get some .50 or .750 plate and start widdling out brackets. Should have no problem getting it in there.

Plenty of room for a turbo or two right there.

Not really, the d1sc was tight and it had the radiator moved forward an inch. In the same car with an f1r there is almost no room, the car is currently running with just a mesh screen until the owner figures something out.

Its not the problem with mounting the turbo, its the down pipe and the ride height with this car. I like to drive over potholes and speed bumps.
I would have to run the dp under the cross member/steering rack or out the side of the fender which is not even an option.

See if the f-body alternator bracket could be milled to match the head unit spacing. I'm going to assume the block is in the way, but maybe not.

You might be stuck building a bracket.
