What is this wiring harness connector for?!?!
Im working on getting my ls1 harness to lay the way i want on my lq4 going into my 71 nova. While i was messing with it plugging everything in to the correct sensors, labeling the connectors, and trying to figure out where my crank sensor connector is (still havent found it) i came across these two connectors which are up by the bank 2 injectors. Now i dont know if this is where it usaully lands on a stock camaro harness because i have deloomed and untaped my harness. As you can see in the pictures ive got them hooked together because that is how im assuming they should go but i have no idea what they are for.
As you can see it is 3 wires that run up to like the end of the fuel rail to the one side of the connector then the other end runs up to that and back into the harness.

The early LS1 had a sensor that was move from front to back in late design, instead of modifying the harness, they just added the extension to loop it back. IIRC it was the Cam sensor or MAP ?.. try following it.
I usually remove the extension or cut it out and spice it together.

Iirc on mine it was the cam sensor extension. I cut it out and used it as power but found out later the wires where broken inside the connector causing drivability problems. Cut that out and redid my connections and I have no problem now. But it is the cam extension harness. All I did was followed it and re spliced it without that.
