Default LS2 water pump

I could have sworn I saw a thread on this but I am unable to locate it... or my old age is playing games. I thought there was a thread on changing the upper radiator hose fitting to a 90* fitting from straight. I have a LS2 water pump and need to do this for room form my radiator and fans, it will be a tight fit for sure if I don't do this. has anyone done this or know of it?

I used a simpler solution to fit an LS1 pump and a truck mechanical fan. Cut the strait outlet off just past the inner bulge. Used a short piece of hose to couple that to a 90 degree fitting I solder out of copper plumbing pipe.

There is no "ls2 water pump". Ls2 came in multiple chassis, with different pumps.

OK, I have the corvette LS2 setup up for clearance compared to the camaro and truck.

that just might work. do you have a picture of that? I know I could cut off the bulge and install a 90* AN fitting to it too.

Either it is a truck, LS1 or LS3 pump. The LS3 water pump allows the most clearance.
