Default Ls Swap Radiator

Just curious if a ls2 really needs an aluminum radiator being the block is aluminum vs a factory style? I have an aftermarket 4 core i believe that would never go above 180 w my gen 1 350 ci

Lots of people run stock, old school radiators with their LS motors. LS motors don't seem particularly hard to cool. If you go with the brass radiator then run old school green antifreeze with it. Suppose to help protect the solder joints better.

The real advantage of aluminum radiators is the weight savings. It is pretty substantial and right off the front of the car too.

Yes green coolant. Also I have read to install an anode for all the different metals.
